 stitutional Amendments\; and the reasons for the ultimate failure to prote
 ct the formerly enslaved.</p>\n<p><strong>About the Presenter:&nbsp\;</str
 ong>John C. (&ldquo\;Jay&rdquo\;)&nbsp\; Maloney\, Jr.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;is " O
 f&nbsp\;Counsel" to&nbsp\;law firm of Traflet &amp\; Fabian in Morristown 
 \, New Jersey and New York City where he is a trial lawyer and complex com
 mercial litigator. His practice focuses on commercial disputes\, pharmaceu
 tical litigation\, class actions and international arbitrations.&nbsp\; Pr
 ior to joining&nbsp\; Traflet &amp\; Fabian\, Mr. Maloney was a partner fo
 r many years at Day Pitney LLP.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;A graduate of Fordham College
 \, Mr. Maloney earned his M.A. in American History at Columbia University\
 , and his J.D. from the New York University School of Law where he was Bus
 iness Editor of the&nbsp\;Law Review. Prior to private practice\, Mr. Malo
 ney served as law clerk to the Honorable John J. Gibbons\, United States C
 ourt of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Maloney served for twenty&ndash
 \;eight years in the United States Army Reserve in the Military Intelligen
 ce Branch where he earned the rank of Colonel. This will be his seventeent
