Join our teen volunteer\, Grace\, for an i nfluential humanitarian project! This program will be for ages 12+. Our vo lunteer \; will be teaching participants basic crocheting skills with plastic bags to help create sleeping mats for the unhoused population. The first session will be mandatory as it will be the learni ng session. Each session after that will be open for participants to come and work on their mats. We ask participants to try and come as often as po ssible since a lot of work goes into creating these mats and we want to ma ke as many as possible for the community. \;

No experience is needed. There will be volunteers to teach you and help you throughout the process! Materials will be provided. \;

Registration is requir ed. All Makerspace activities require closed toe shoes and completed Found ry Waiver &\; Safety Playbook forms. These can be acquired at the Servi ce Desk or online at \; https://www.pascolibraries.org/makerspaces/the -foundry/ Minors forms must be completed by a parent/guardian.
