  is a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes and a lecturer of America
 n Indian Studies at California State University San Marcos. Her work explo
 res the intersection of environmentalism and American Indians\, including 
 an examination of the role of Native women in activism\, American Indians 
 and sports\, and decolonization.</p>\n<p>In addition to her work as an aca
 demic\, Dina is a journalist who has written for publications like <em>Ind
 ian Country Today</em>\, the <em>Los Angeles Times</em>\, and <em>High Cou
 ntry News</em>. She has also been involved in film projects\, both in fron
 t of the camera and behind in advisory and educational roles\, including R
 aoul Peck&rsquo\;s Peabody Award winning HBO docuseries\, <em>Exterminate 
 All the Brutes\,</em>&nbsp\;Nia Tero&rsquo\;s <em>Reciprocity Project</em>
