 g>About the speaker</strong></p>\n<p>David Gascoigne has been involved wit
 h nature since the age of eight and it occupies his daily activities in on
 e form or another. On most days you will find David in the field\, always 
 learning something new. David is a two-time Past President of Waterloo Reg
 ion Nature\, recipient of the 1990 ACRA Award from the Town of Markham for
  Outstanding Civic Contribution\, and the 2018 Waterloo Region Nature Cons
 ervation Award. Nothing gives David more pleasure than to share his knowle
 dge with others and to fire up their enthusiasm for nature.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\
 ;</p>\n<p><strong>About Cambridge Third Age Learning</strong></p>\n<p>Camb
 ridge Third Age Learning (CTAL) is a movement that encourages learning and
  discovery experiences for those in the 'third age'. As part of our <a hre
 f="https://ideaexchange.libnet.info/events?=&amp\;n=30&amp\;r=days&amp\;te
 rm=Connections+50" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="Connections 50+">
 Connections 50+</a>&nbsp\;suite of programming\, CTAL provides free monthl
 y lectures in our Queen's Square location. With lecturers and topics caref
 ully selected by our CTAL Committee\, a volunteer-led group of contemporar
 ies\, the series is designed to inspire new thinking and engage inquisitiv
