The themes of death\, loss\, and grief are ubiquitous in literature. Authors write about death for many reason such as trying to understand the finality of death\, to cope with loss\, to pre serve memories\, or to try to accept their situation and heal. In this wor kshop\, we will read poems that explore these subjects and discuss how poe ts tackle voice\, tone\, and form to achieve their goals. We will also mak e time to start writing our own poems and\, if poets wish\, to share them with each other. Come ready to get inspired by the poems we read together and the prompts provided.
