y Heather Hogan of Tenacious Goods. Participants will leave the class know
ing how to carve and print their own lino block design.</p>\n<p>The class
will cover:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>How to craft a design for the stamp</li>\n<li>W
ays to transfer the design to the block</li>\n<li>Basic carving methods an
d techniques</li>\n<li>How to roll up ink on a brayer and ink the block</l
i>\n<li>Printing methods on paper and cloth without a press</li>\n</ul>\n<
p>Complete beginners without any drawing experience will thrive in this cl

ng this new art form. Students should feel comfortable working with their
hands and viewing small details on the linoleum block (bring your reading
glasses). Sitting and standing\, rolling up ink\, and applying pressure to
the block is required. The ink can stain clothing\, so students may want
to bring an apron. The blade is sharp\, so students will need to remain mi
ndful of making cuts away from their hand/body. This workshop is appropria
te for teens and adults.</p>\n<p>For further information\, please contact
