 o can donate?</span></h3>\n<p><strong>GENERAL:</strong> The donor must be 
 in good health and feeling well.</p>\n<p><strong>AGE:</strong> At least 17
  years of age.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>WEIGHT:</strong> 110 pounds or more.
 </p>\n<p><strong>DIET:</strong> It is recommended to eat something within 
 the four hours prior to the donation.</p>\n<p><strong>COLD OR FLU:</strong
 > Fever\, persistent cough\, sore throat or chest congestion disqualifies 
 a donor.</p>\n<p><strong>INTERVAL BETWEEN DONATIONS:</strong> Must be eigh
 t (8) weeks between regular whole blood donations\, sixteen (16) weeks aft
 er double red cell apheresis and seven (7) days after platelet apheresis.<
 /p>\n<p><strong>MEDICATIONS:</strong> Donors taking medications may be def
 erred from donating due to their underlying medical condition. Check with 
 the Heartland staff for acceptability.</p>\n<p><strong>TRAVEL OUTSIDE THE 
 U.S.:</strong> Travel to certain parts of the world may be cause for defer
 ral. Check with the Versiti staff to determine eligibility.</p>\n<p style=
