Experience the magic of Diwali with a spe cial reading of The Spirit of Diwali by local author Smita Bhanda ri. Perfect for children ages 5+\, this engaging story will introduce youn g readers to the joy and meaning behind the Festival of Lights.

We &rsquo\;ll then turn up the fun with a guided dance session to a lively Di wali song\, where kids (and grownups!) can join in and learn some traditio nal Indian dance moves.

But that's not all! After the dance\, chil dren can express their creativity by participating in a Diwali-themed craf t activity\, where they&rsquo\;ll get to make something special to take ho me. \;

Living in Austra lia my daughter has limited exposure to Indian culture and traditions.
