 ry.org/">Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL</a>) is a broad open-access re
 source that includes full-text scans of original publications about biodiv
 ersity\, beautiful and rare items with illustrations of plants and animals
 \, as well as handwritten fields guides and notes by scientists. The BHL c
 ontains materials that may otherwise only be available in rare book librar
 ies and is the largest open-access digital library for biodiversity litera
 ture and archives. In this workshop\, participants will be guided through 
 finding items and images in the BHL database and on the BHL&rsquo\;s Flick
 r page. Participants will also learn about opportunities to be citizen sci
 entists\, and help unlock the material in the BHL for researchers and the 
 world! Haley Kedzierski\, graduate assistant\, and Kelli Jean Trei Bioscie
 nces\, Librarian and Associate Professor\, from the Funk Library\, Univers
