Broward Tax Pro or formerly known as Volun teer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will be providing free tax prepa ration services to eligible families and individuals with annual household incomes of less than $75\,000. This service is provided by trained and ce rtified volunteers who will prepare tax returns at no cost\, and determine an individual&rsquo\;s eligibility for special tax credits such as Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)\, Child Tax Credit\, Education Credits and other credits and deductions to help taxpayers claim the maximum refund or mini mum debt.

\nSocial Secur ity card or verification letter that includes the Social Security Number\, or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) assignment letter\, f or all family members
\nLast year tax return (2024) W-2 forms for al l jobs worked in 2024 Form 1099-G for unemployment compensation and state or local tax refunds
\nForm 1099-R or form SSA-1099If you are self-e mployed bring all the supporting documentation related to your business in come and expenses. (If you worked with Uber and/or Lyft\, you must bring t he official statement they provide showing the details of gross payments r eceived\, mileage and fees paid during 2024).Form W-2G and any other 1099 form received during 2024 Child care provider name\, address\, and tax ID number\, and the amount paid in 2024 Form 1098-T \, updated unofficial tra nscripts from your school\, and school statement showing charges and payme nts for every academic period\, if you or anyone in your household attend college or university (post-secondary education)IRS Letter 6419 2024 Advan ce CTC If you receive ADVANCE CHILD TAX CREDIT\,IRS Letter 6475 if you rec eive the Third Economic Impact Payment of $ 1\,400.00 or your bank stateme nt showing the deposit of it. Other applicable tax-related documents\, suc h as interest statements\, federal loan documents\, retirement statements\ , list of organizations to which you made charitable donations and theirs support documentation\, etc.
