They inform\, educate\, and promote o ur National Floral Emblem\, the rose\, as they encourage and help people t o grow roses. Their meetings cover topics like \;rose trials\, growing roses in pots\, roses for various locations\, and many other aspects of g rowing and enjoying roses. Anyone interested in roses is invited to attend meetings and become a member. GRS is one of nearly 400 societies nationwi de and is affiliated with the American Rose Society.
