 st finished the thing\, we want your first page!</p>\n<p>Winners receive a
  $100 Maria's gift certificate and their work aired on the Page One radio 
 program!</p>\n<p>The five winning pages will be selected by mid-December. 
 Winners will be aired on KSUT &amp\; KDUR in January 2025.</p>\n<p>About <
 a href="https://www.ksut.org/show/page-one">Page One</a>: Each week DPL St
 aff member Nancy Stoffer chooses a compelling first page from a book withi
 n the library's collection and reads it on local radio stations KDUR and K
 SUT. The Page One Radio program airs on KSUT Mondays 9:30 a.m. &amp\; Satu
 rdays 7:56 a.m. and KDUR Fridays 11:45 a.m. &amp\; Sundays 10:30 a.m.</p>\
 n<p>Contest rules:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>"One Page" = approx. 300 - 500 words\, t
 yped</li>\n<li>Original works by locals only</li>\n<li>Fiction\, Poetry\, 
 Non-fiction\, YA\, Children's welcome</li>\n<li>Please include the title</
 li>\n<li>There is a youth category (Under age 18): let us know if you qual
 ify qualify!</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Submissions can be emailed to spenser.snarr@d
 urangoco.gov or dropped off at Durango Public Library between November 1 a
