  workshop. All materials are provided. This class is open to artists of an
 y level\, including beginners. All are welcome!</p>\n<p>For our third sess
 ion\, we will study Guadalupe Maravilla&nbsp\;(born 1976)\, formerly known
  as&nbsp\;Irvin Morazan\, a transdisciplinary visual artist\, choreographe
 r\, and healer. At the age of eight\, Maravilla was part of the first wave
  of unaccompanied\, undocumented children to arrive at the United States b
 order in the 1980s because of the Salvadoran Civil War. In 2016\, Maravill
 a became a U.S. citizen and adopted the name Guadalupe Maravilla in solida
 rity with his undocumented father\, who uses Maravilla as his last name. A
 s an acknowledgment to his past\, Maravilla grounds his practice in the hi
 storical and contemporary contexts belonging to undocumented communities a
 nd the cancer community. Maravilla's studio is in&nbsp\;Brooklyn\, New Yor
 k. Students will create images of totemic figures like the figures seen in
  Maravilla&rsquo\;s large and imposing sculptures.</p>\n<p>This program wi
 ll be held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube.</p>\n<p>Registrati
 on is required whether you are attending in person or online. Registration
  closes 15 minutes before each class. You will receive the Zoom link and p
