 /span></h4>\n<p>All gingerbread houses should be submitted to the Circulat
 ion Desk<strong> anytime during the week of November 24 up to Sunday\, Dec
 ember 1</strong>. Please include preferred name\, age\, phone and address 
 along with gingerbread house at drop off.</p>\n<p>Westlake Porter Public L
 ibrary reserves the right to refuse any entry deemed inappropriate for dis
 play.&nbsp\;</p>\n<h4><span style="color: #993300\;">Guidelines:&nbsp\;</s
 pan></h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Size:&nbsp\;Each gingerbread house must be on a base 
 that does not exceed 12 inches in width\, 12 inches in depth\, and 18 inch
 es in height. The base needs to be covered with foil or decorated to compl
 iment the gingerbread scene. This size limitation is to ensure that the ho
 uses fit well within our designated display area.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>
 Materials:&nbsp\;Gingerbread houses should be constructed primarily from e
 dible materials. Traditional gingerbread\, royal icing\, candies\, and edi
 ble decorations are encouraged. While non-edible support structures are ac
 ceptable for stability purposes\, they should be discreet and not visible 
 on the finished gingerbread house.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4><span style="color: #9
 93300\;">Pick Up:</span></h4>\n<p>All gingerbread houses should be picked 
 up between January 2 and 4. Any gingerbread houses not picked up by these 
 times will be discarded. Special arrangements could be made if necessary.&
