trong></p>\n<p>"It seemed like a good idea at the time\," is one of my fav
orite sayings because I have used it more than I would like to admit. Said
in another way\, "Good judgment is learned through experience and experie
nce is gained from bad judgment." You can re-invent the wheel or choose to
learn some lessons from others who have made good and bad choices.</p>\n<
p>Practicing good judgment is a skill that can be developed if you have th
e right tools. The feedback I regularly receive about this presentation is
\, "Your lecture made me re-examine the criteria and the process I use whe
n making decisions for myself and the groups I lead. It has given me a who
le new approach to my decision-making process."</p>\n<p>This presentation
 includes:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Defining good &amp\; poor judgment</li>\n<li>Iden
 tifying your decision-making criteria</li>\n<li>Detailing the decision-mak
ing process (DMP)</li>\n<li>Reviewing the reactive &amp\; proactive DMP th
rough scenarios</li>\n<li>Things to consider before your next adventure.</
