Get out\, get active\, and enjoy all the b enefits that come from walking! This Just Walk session is led by Burlingto n Family Health Team. First\, understand the concept of "Exercise as Medic ine"&mdash\;including the importance of "dosage" with exercise in order to achieve optimal results. And then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a h ealthy walk and lively conversation.
\nPlease arrive 10 minutes befo re the walk. Meet us near the Fireplace at Tansley Woods Branch. We will t hen move to the outdoor space facing the grassy field\, just in front of t he library parking lot (just south of Upper Middle).
\nWalking is a wonderful form of physical activity and we encourage all levels of walking ability to participate in this event&mdash\;whether you complete the enti re walk or join us for part of the journey! Walking devices\, mobility aid s\, and walking companions are welcome. All participants must sign a waive r\, which is provided at the start of the walk.
