The migration waves will range from 17th century immigrants that were banished from Scotland and settled in New England\, to the 18th cent ury Scots-Irish immigrants that primarily settled in the Mid-Atlantic stat es and the Carolinas\, to the 19th &\; 20th century immigrants who prim arily settled in the larger and rapidly growing American cities.
\nT he presentation will also discuss the cultural influences that those from Scotland brought to the expanding America.
