ng>About the Book:</strong></p>\n<p><em>The Secret History of Black Punk:
 Record Zero&nbsp\;</em>is an illustrated roll-call for punk\, post-punk\,
hardcore\, no wave\, and experimental bands from ground zero 'til now. A s
tarting point for anyone curious\, another reference for those who devour
all genre-related things\, or a cool artifact for them who already know.</
 p>\n<p><strong>About the Author:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Raeghan Buchanan
</strong> is an artist from Eerie\, PA who resides in Columbus\, Ohio and
paints murals\, draws portraits\, makes comics\, plays drums\, and chooses
death by typeface. Buchanan makes comics highlighting rock &lsquo\;n&rsqu
o\; roll musical roots in Black culture and focuses&nbsp\; specifically on
the punk rock aspects of that canon. She gets artistic influence from ear
ly punk aesthetic and the political/art movements it drew from\, and uses
the DIY vehicles associated with punk\, such as sloganeering\, merchandise
\, and zines to proliferate information. She created and co-runs @POCtober
Art online\, an instagallery that goes live during October and calls for a
rtist participation in drawing Black and POC punk bands\, as well as funk
and rock musicians\, in order to document\, practice drawing skills\, and
create a visual dialog between artists and bands.</p>\n<p><strong>About th
 e Moderator:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Scott Woods&nbsp\;</strong>is a writ
