Mark
E. Button (Ph.D. Rutgers University\, 2001) is Professor and Chair in the
Department of Political Science\, University of Utah. He is the author of
Political Vices (Oxford University Press 2016) and Contract\,
Culture\, and Citizenship: Transformative Liberalism from Hobbes to Rawls
(Penn State University Press\, 2008). His articles have appeared in
Political Studies\; Political Research Quarterly\; P

a of Political Thought. Professor Button teaches courses in political
