 ething new if you can fix what you already have? The Repair Caf&eacute\; "
 fixers' are sharing a variety of skills to help you fix common household i
 tems. Refer to the list of items that includes what you can and cannot bri
 ng. Participants\, please review the <a href="https://www.repaircafe.org/e
 n/house-rules/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>House Rules</strong
 ></a>.</p>\n<hr />\n<p><strong>House Rules</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maximum
  1-item for repair. If you bring other items you will only be able to have
  them fixed if you stand in line and there are open appointments.</li>\n<l
 i>Appointments are a maximum of 20-minutes.</li>\n<li>The work carried out
  in the Repair Caf&eacute\; is performed free of charge on a voluntary bas
 is by the repair experts at hand.</li>\n<li>Visitors carry out the repairs
  themselves whenever possible\, but repair experts on site can help if nec
 essary.</li>\n<li>The fact that the repairs are being performed by unpaid 
 volunteers reflects the allocation of risks and limitation of liability: n
 either the organizers of the Repair Caf&eacute\; nor the repair experts ar
 e liable for any loss that may result from advice or instructions concerni
 ng repairs\, for the loss of items handed over for repair\, for indirect o
 r consequential loss or for any other kind of loss resulting from work per
 formed in the Repair Caf&eacute\;. The limitations set forth in these hous
 e rules shall not apply to claims declared justified on the basis of liabi
 lity arising by virtue of applicable consumer protection legislation which
  cannot be lawfully superseded.</li>\n<li>We may not have all the tools\, 
 supplies and resources to repair your item.</li>\n<li>New parts or materia
 ls required for a repair shall be provided by the visitor.</li>\n<li>Visit
 ors offering broken items for repair do so at their own risk.&nbsp\;&nbsp\
 ;</li>\n<li>Experts making repairs offer no guarantee for the repairs carr
 ied out with their help and are not liable if objects that are repaired in
  the Repair Caf&eacute\; turn out not to work properly at home.&nbsp\;&nbs
 p\;</li>\n<li>Repair experts are entitled to refuse to repair certain obje
 cts.</li>\n<li>Repair experts are not obliged to reassemble disassembled a
 ppliances that cannot be repaired.</li>\n<li>Visitors to Repair Caf&eacute
 \; are solely responsible for the tidy removal of broken objects that coul
