 1964\, Maryland Governor Wes Moore stated\, &ldquo\;Studying history isn&r
 squo\;t just about knowing what happened in the past. It&rsquo\;s about kn
 owing our power in the present.&rdquo\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Teach-in participan
 ts are welcome to register to attend one or all of the interactive session
 s\, which will explore these topics in the context of Dr. King&rsquo\;s le
 gacy and impact on participants' own lives. Find each session linked in th

 sion will study the impact of Dr. King&rsquo\;s legacy on history and poli
 tics during the civil rights era and today.</p>\n<p><br />2:00-3:00 pm -<a

 p\; Social Change</strong></a>: This session will study the impact of Dr. 
 King&rsquo\;s philosophy of love-in-action and its impact on social change
  during his era and today.</p>\n<p><br />3:30-4:30 pm - <a href="https://w

 Local Communities</strong></a>: This session will study youth activism in 
 Dr. King&rsquo\;s&nbsp\; era and its relevance to youth activism in local

 \; Social Justice</strong>: This session will study the impact of the arts
  on the civil rights movement and the arts&rsquo\; impact on social justic
 e in the U.S. today.</p>\n<p><br />6:30-7:30 pm - <a href="https://ww1.pgc
 mls.info/event/12296811"><strong>Community Conversation on Racial Healing<
 /strong></a>: This session will discuss Dr. King&rsquo\;s impact on racial
  healing in the U.S.\, as well as being a compassionate space of conversat
 ion and listening on building racial equity and social change in our commu
 nity today.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>In exploring the history of Dr. King and the 
 civil rights movement\, let's learn from each other and study where we as 
 a nation have been\, where we are today\, and where we need to be in the f
