 tion?</strong></p>\n<p><br />Conversation &amp\; Connection sessions are d
 esigned to teach some fundamental skills of effective communication and al
 so provide a safe\, friendly space to practice these skills\, so you can h
 ave more meaningful conversations and create deeper connection with others
 .</p>\n<p>There are six fundamental topics covered in this advanced commun
 ication workshop to help you become a more effective communicator: Listeni
 ng\, Authenticity\, Empathy\, Conversation\, Language and Reciprocity.</p>
 \n<p>Each session focuses on only one of the six topics\, so you will expe
 rience something new every time you attend!</p>\n<p>If you have thoughts a
 nd feelings of being disconnected\, uncertain of what to say\, what to tal
 k about\, not wanting to go alone\, &ldquo\;this is just another networkin
 g event&hellip\;&rdquo\; or a multitude of other reasons&hellip\; please u
 nderstand that we have kept all of this in mind in the creation of these e
 vents for you.</p>\n<p><br /><strong>What happens during the event?</stron
 g><br />We start each event by introducing a few key concepts on how to be
 come a more effective communicator.</p>\n<p><br />Next we invite you to pa
 rticipate in our safe\, friendly\, empowered space\, where we will facilit
 ate rounds of 1-on-1 conversation with like minded people\, by providing<b
 r />a topic/question for each round of conversation.</p>\n<p><strong>Will 
 I get to meet new people?</strong><br />We take care of pairing everyone u
 p with someone new every round\, so you have ample opportunity to meet new
  people from your community and connect with them by practicing your commu
 nication skills.</p>\n<p><strong>When and where is this event held?</stron
 g><br />These social events happen twice a month at the Coquitlam Library 
 City Center Branch from 6:30 pm- 8:00 pm</p>\n<p><br />There are only 24 s
 pots available at each social event\, so do not wait and register your spo
 t now!</p>\n<p><strong>How to attend these events?</strong><br />Intermedi
 ate to Advanced level of English is required.</p>\n<p><br />These social e
 vents are for people aged 16 and up.</p>\n<p><br />We ask that you please
