Looking Back is a saddle stitch bookbindin g workshop that invites participants to bring their own archival paper mat erial\, photographs\, found materials and objects to create their own hand stitched books. Through the use of incorporating personal materials\, par ticipants are encouraged to reflect on 2024 while creating their own handb ound books that can serve as vessels and entry points for a fresh start\, and new year ahead. This workshop is presented in conjunction with the exh ibition\, What They Saw: Historical Photobooks by Women Reading Room prese nted by WOPHA in collaboration with 10x10 Photobooks which features an exp ansive interpretation of the photobook genre\, including classic bound boo ks\, portfolios\, personal albums\, zines\, scrapbooks\, and unpublished w orks.
