 </p>\n<p>Created for parents\, caregivers\, and those who work with or on 
 behalf of children\, our 2-hour Let's Talk About It Training&reg\; provide
 s education and insight on the ages and stages of a child's development\, 
 examining each through a social\, physical\, and developmental lens. The t
 raining also provides guidance on how to talk to children about their bodi
 es. You will learn about neurotypical childhood and adolescent development
  and determine what is considered problematic or inappropriate behavior in
  children and youth. Participants will go through scenarios to gain hands-
 on experience on how to handle certain behaviors\, situations\, or questio
 ns that a child may have with the appropriate response while remaining cal
 m. The training is ideal for participants with or who work with children a
 nd youth ages 0-17 years old. We recommend taking this class every year.</
 p>\n<p>KIDS Center is a medical model Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) pro
 viding child abuse evaluations that include a head-to-toe medical exam\, c
 hild-friendly forensic interview\, family advocacy\, and mental health ser
 vices to children and families impacted by abuse. In addition\, our servic
 es include prevention programs to help teach adults in our community how t
 o better protect children from abuse.</p>\n<p>Children are referred for a 
 KIDS Center evaluation by one of four community partners including law enf
 orcement\, DHS Child Welfare\, medical providers\, and licensed mental hea
 lth professionals. Children and families can engage in KIDS Center advocac
 y and mental health services without participating in an evaluation. All o
