  middle school and&nbsp\;is a&nbsp\;former&nbsp\;champion of the&nbsp\;Mar
 in&nbsp\;County&nbsp\;Margie Burke Speech Tournament.</p>\n<p>Ashley will&
 nbsp\;help middle school students develop crucial public speaking skills\,
  lessons that are not always available in school settings.</p>\n<p>In this
  class\, Impromptu Speaking Skills will be introduced and&nbsp\;students w
 ill walk out of the course confident in speaking on the spot&nbsp\;on vari
 ous topics. Ashley will teach students skills\,&nbsp\;tips\, and tricks th
 at can be applied to formal speech structures\,&nbsp\;classroom discussion
 s and presentations\, and everything in between.</p>\n<p><strong>Middle sc
 hool students who attended our previous public speaking class can sign up 
 again to build on their skills\, and new students are invited to participa
 te. </strong></p>\n<p><strong>The first session in January will summarize 
 and review the material previously covered\, and the next six sessions wil
 l introduce new concepts and provide experience and peer feedback.</strong
 ></p>\n<p>The one-hour class will be held on seven Saturday afternoons at 
 the Library.&nbsp\;Students should attend all sessions if possible. There 
 will be a snack/restroom break halfway through the hour.</p>\n<p>Sign up n
