X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>The Zhēnxi&agrave\;n bāo is a centu
ries-old structure used in China. Though we call it &ldquo\;Chinese thread

uo\; Zhēnxi&agrave\;n bāo was used to store pieces of thread\, whet
her for embroidery or repair\, and needles. The book is made of different
sizes of flat origami boxes that when arranged and attached reveal hidden
compartments. Participants will come away from this workshop knowing how t
o fold and build the book and&nbsp\;customize the boxes for future project
s.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>All materials will be supplied. The workshop is appropri
ate for middle schoolers\, high schoolers\, and adults (participants need
to be able to follow instructions very well and be able to work on their o
 wn without supervision).</p>\n<p><img src="https://static.libnet.info/fron
