  into practice\, out of caution and into action\, out of statistics and in
 to stories&mdash\;in short\, out of our heads and into our hearts.</p>\n<p

 th. From her first experience of social activism among women in India to h

 fetime spent on the road allowed Gloria to listen and connect deeply with

 a movement that would change the world. In prose that is revealing and ric

 ers Collection&nbsp\;champions women&rsquo\;s historical\, cultural\, and 
 political contributions and strives to provide a welcoming space for women

 eminist materials\,&rdquo\; intersectional works that uphold human and wom
 en&rsquo\;s rights and interests in defining and promoting political\, eco
 nomic\, personal\, and social equality of the sexes\, races\, classes\, se
 xual orientations\, and genders. The Steinem Sisters Collection has grown 
 to over 900 titles in the ten years since its inception. Regular programmi
 ng\, including book discussion groups and talking circles\, aims to highli
 ght the collection and build community. This collection was made possible 
 due to a generous donation by The Steinem&rsquo\;s Sisters Collective.</p>
