 n writing? In this workshop\, we&rsquo\;ll explore the different examples 
 from the burgeoning genre of text-and-image. We&rsquo\;ll also generate a 
 collage of our own and practice ekphrasis based on our collage!</p>\n<p>Ro
 bin Bruce is a writer\, visual artist\, musician\, and contemplative artis
 t\, weaving multiple disciplines into performance art\, songs\, and manusc
 ripts for television and film. She also teaches meditation\, deep relaxati
 on\, and breathwork classes in Northwest Arkansas\, using singing and guid
 ed visualization as portals into spaces of rest and deep care. She&rsquo\;
 s released three records under the name Dharampal and published two full-l
 ength manuscripts: one emphasizing memoir\, journaling\, and meditation\; 
 the other\, a text-and-image piece titled\, Dear Gordon. In 2021\, she rec
 eived the Artists 360 Practicing Artist Grant\, and later\, the Benjamin L
 ever Tuition Fellowship from the University of Arkansas in 2023. Her M.A. 
 is in Religious Studies from Naropa University and she&rsquo\;s in her fou
 rth and final year of the MFA in Creative Writing and Translation at The U
 niversity of Arkansas. Through her teaching\, performances\, recordings\, 
 and writing\, she highlights themes of friendship\, love\, community\, and
