 dge and skills is explored in this 1 time workshop for parents with adoles

 rugs and alcohol\, dating\, bullying\, family dynamics and more.&nbsp\; No

 e years (and continues into the twenties) making teens more likely to act 
 on impulse\, misread social cues and engage in risky behaviors to name a f
 ew.&nbsp\; Parents who understand their teen's development\, and learn mor
 e about what to expect\, will be more prepared and better able to handle b
 ehavioral changes and challenges.</p>\n<p>Some of our goals:</p>\n<ul>\n<l
 i>Increase parenting knowledge and skills as it relates to teenage develop
 ment\, communication\, stress management and positive guidance.</li>\n<li>
 Facilitate positive communication and parent-teen interaction.</li>\n<li>C
 ollaborate with community agencies to offer this program\, including an on
 line course option for parents.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The program series include
 s parents and teenagers (or just parents).<br />During the workshop famili
 es engage in positive discussion and parent-teen activities.&nbsp\;<br />F
 amilies receive free materials and books to continue the positive family e
 ngagement and learning at home.</p>\n<p>Open and free to the public. In pa
