  the day of the program. We have a&nbsp\;limited&nbsp\;number of available
  time slots. Readers can sign up for a time slot starting at 4:15 p.m. at 
 the Information Desk.</strong></p>\n<p>Each reader will have&nbsp\;ten min
 utes&nbsp\;to read one-on-one with the therapy dog. We encourage each chil
 d to participate independently without their adult or sibling(s)\, but we 
 understand that some children feel more comfortable with their grown up.</
 p>\n<p>Read to a Dog programs provide elementary-aged children with a chan
 ce to practice reading aloud and building their confidence during one-on-o
 ne reading sessions with a certified therapy dog. Bring your own book or c
 hoose one from our collection! Children can read books in any language the
 y would like to practice in.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>For children ages 5-

 articipants within the suggested age range of the program. Adults attendin
