  air that surrounds us is something that we might not think a lot about\, 
 but when we learn more about it\, we realize that it is an exciting topic!
  We will first read about and discuss how air moves\, engaging children in
  thinking about their world through literature\, discussion\, song\, and m
 ovement. Children will observe some interesting presentations\, listening 
 and predicting as we go. They will then have the opportunity to engage in 
 several simple hands-on science experiments. Finally\, children will creat
 e their own simple wind-powered objects\, using both artistic and engineer
 ing skills to decorate and construct their very own pinwheel! We will prov
 ide all the materials for this program. Sponsored by Friends of the Librar
