In the name of co nvenience and time\, genealogists are increasingly failing to compare orig inal records with the information gleaned from print and online resources. \nBryan L. Mulca hy is an experienced librarian specializing in adult reference\, genealogy \, and literacy. He has served as a librarian with the Lee County Library System since 1990. Prior to this\, he held similar roles with the Southwes t Georgia Regional Library and Moultrie-Colquitt County Library from 1984 to 1990\, including work with the Ellen Payne Odom Genealogy Library. Earl ier in his career\, he worked as a Reference and Circulation Assistant at Florida State University Law Library and as an archivist with Leahy Busine ss Archives. Bryan holds a B.A. and MLS from Florida State University.
