  how I identified the parents and siblings of my ancestor who was killed d
 uring the Civil War and who left behind few records. I'll also review the 
 Genealogical Proof Standard and show how each step of the GPS applies to m
 y research process. The case is built on indirect evidence\, and I also us
 ed the FAN Club\, and DNA evidence to help solve the mystery.</p>\n<p>Lind
 sey Harner been conducting genealogy research since 2013. Her specialties 
 include research in Pennsylvania and New York. She holds a B.A. Speech &am
 p\; Communication Studies from the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and
  an M.S. in Media Management from Syracuse University.&nbsp\; Historical p
 reservation and unraveling genealogical mysteries are my passions. She sta
 rted Lindsey&rsquo\;s Histories in 2020 to help people with ancestors in P
 ennsylvania and upstate New York learn about and preserve their family his
