 na\, West Africa. He is of both Ga and Krobo tribal heritage. He came to C
 anada in 1991 and has performed with many ensembles and in 1997\, Ashong w
 as presented with Music Africa&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;Best Male Performer&rdquo\
 ; award. He resides in Saskatoon with his family.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>
