This introductory\, in-person class will c over how to use the Cricut Maker\, an electronic die-cutting machine\, to create an iron-on decal using heat transfer vinyl (HTV) and how to apply t hat decal to a cloth tote bag using the Cricut Easy Press. Participants wi ll also learn the basics of Cricut Design Space\, the software used to cre ate endlessly customizable designs. No experience necessary\, all material s provided.
\nEveryone is welcome to visit the Leonardtown Library M akerspace during open hours to use the Cricut to create whatever you can i magine! Customers need to have their own Cricut Design Space online accoun t and bring their own material\, but we have all the equipment and tools y ou'll need! \nNote for minors: Tee nagers are welcome in our Makerspace classes! Customers aged 14+ can use t he Makerspace without a guardian present but must have a waiver signed by their guardian. Waivers are available in the Makerspace and are needed for minors to participation in this class.
