The Pathway to Renewal is Chelsea's art mo saic of reflection\, beauty\, and grace at TimberTown Park and was created in 2003 in response to the tragic deaths in the community in the early 20 00s. An effort is underway to repair and celebrate the mosaic. This maker event\, led by award-winning glass artist Kelly Barkley\, provides communi ty members the opportunity to be part of the Mosaic's renewal through the creation of a 4" fused glass tile that reflects the themes of Hope\, Heali ng\, Helping\, and Renewal. After the tiles are fired/fused\, they will be installed next spring into new vertical steel sculptures created by metal artist fabricator Vince Walz. All tile makers are invited to the ribbon c utting to see their tile in place.
