Check out the monthly book selection and d iscuss it in a fun and easy-going setting. Teen Book Club meets on the sec ond Saturday of every month and is limited to teens from 12&ndash\;18. Boo k selections will be reserved for pickup at our Galvez location\, and snac ks will be served at the meeting. The selection for February will be T he Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon\, a dual point-of-view novel abo ut life dreams\, falling in love\, what extraordinary things can happen du ring just one day and the tenuous future of those who may be deported at a ny moment. The novel won Yoon the Coretta Scott King Award\, which recogni zes outstanding books for young adults and children by African American au thors and illustrators\, and was adapted into a feature film.
