In Japan\, Cherry \;Blossom Season is from early March to early May. A fascinating American tourist attraction f or decades\, Japan was the home of Educator Yvonne Liu Wolf where she live d and worked for several years. Yvonne \;will give a brief overview of Japan\, its national flower\, and welcome Spring the Japanese way - throu gh the cherry blossom festivals. This presentation also includes an option al paper-cutting \;cherry blossom craft.
\nIntercultural consult ant and educator Yvonne Wolf delivers presentations that clarify the eleme nts of East Asian culture in an accessible\, relatable context. She has gi ven talks at libraries\, museums\, and community centers where her thought ful consideration serves to enrich her entertaining presentations. Yvonne generously shares the knowledge and skills she has gained from her experie nces living in four different countries\, where she became fluent in three languages (Chinese (Mandarin)\, English\, and Danish). She worked as a bi lingual analyst in a Japanese global corporation in Denmark and a global l anguage trainer in Japan. She has also traveled extensively in the United States. She has ten years of experience working as an organizational consu ltant in Los Angeles\, mediating cross-cultural misunderstandings. She con tinues her work in the Greater Chicago area. \;
