Corrie ten Boom was a Dutch watchmaker and later a writer and public speaker\, who worked with her father\, \;Ca sper ten Boom\, her sister \;Betsie ten Boom \;and other family me mbers to help many \;Jewish people \;escape from the \;Nazis&n bsp\;during \;the Holocaust \;in \;World War II \;by hidin g them in her home. They were caught\, and she was arrested\, and sent to the \;Ravensbrü\;ck concentration camp. Her most famous book\,&nbs p\;The Hiding Place\, is a biography that recounts the story of her family's efforts and how she found and shared hope while she was imprisoned at the concentration camp.
\nWife\, mother\, grandmother\, teacher\, dramatist/storyteller\, a nd conference speaker\, Gayle Haas is a nurturer who embraces the values o f life and family. She takes great pleasure in developing and performing t he dramatic monologues of various characters.
