 Tre'vell Anderson</strong> (they/them) is an award-winning journalist\, no
 ted podcast host\, and authoress doing world-changing work around society 
 and culture. Named to Out&nbsp\;magazine&rsquo\;s 2023 list of the 100 mos
 t impactful LGBTQ+ people and The Root&rsquo\;s 2020 list of the 100 most 
 influential African Americans\, they have dedicated their career to center
 ing those in the margins\, gray spaces\, and at the intersections of life.
  Founder and Chief Imagination Officer of the social curation and media pr
 oduction house Slayzhon\, Tre&rsquo\;vell is also the authoress of &ldquo\
 ;We See Each Other: A Black\, Trans Journey Through TV and Film&rdquo\; an
 d co-authoress of the NAACP Image Award-winning &ldquo\;Historically Black
  Phrases: From &lsquo\;I Ain&rsquo\;t One Of Your Lil&rsquo\; Friends&rsqu
 o\; to &lsquo\;Who All Gon&rsquo\; Be There?&rsquo\;&rdquo\;</p>\n<p>A rec
 ognizable voice in audio storytelling\, Tre&rsquo\;vell hosted the award-w
 inning shows &ldquo\;FANTI&rdquo\; (Maximum Fun) and &ldquo\;What A Day&rd
 quo\; (Crooked Media). Under the banner of Slayzhon\, they also hosted and
  produced the limited series podcasts &ldquo\;We See Each Other: The Podca
 st\,&rdquo\; based on their debut book\, and &ldquo\;The Official Rustin P
 odcast\,&rdquo\; in partnership with Netflix.</p>\n<p>Formerly Editor-At-L
 arge for Xtra magazine and Director of Culture and Entertainment at Out ma
 gazine\, Tre'vell got their start in journalism at the Los Angeles Times w
 here they created the beat of diversity in Hollywood with a focus on Black
  and queer film. Over the course of their career\, they've covered every m
 ajor red carpet in Hollywood and interviewed everyone from Viola Davis to 
 Lil Nas X and Laverne Cox to Andr&eacute\; Leon Talley. Their work&mdash\;
 which has graced the pages of Essence\, TIME and Entertainment Weekly\, am
 ong others&mdash\;has been recognized by the Online News Association\, Nat
 ional Association of Black Journalists\, the Shorty Awards\, and the Los A
 ngeles Press Club among others.</p>\n<p>A native of Charleston\, SC\, Tre'
 vell received their Bachelor's degree in sociology from &ldquo\;the nation
 's headquarters for Black male excellence\,&rdquo\; Morehouse College. A y
 ear later\, they earned their Master's degree in journalism from Stanford 
 University. In 2018\, they received the &ldquo\;Passing the Torch Award&rd
 quo\; from Better Brothers Los Angeles for their work in media and represe
 nting the LGBTQ+ community. In 2019\, they were recognized as one of Empow
 erment Congress&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;40 Under 40.&rdquo\; In 2021\, they recei
 ved the Lisa Ben Award for Achievement in Features Coverage from NLGJA: Th
 e LGBTQ+ Journalists Assn.</p>\n<p>A well sought-after moderator and comme
 ntator\, Tre&rsquo\;vell has appeared on Good Morning America\, MSNBC\, NP
 R\, NBC Nightly New\, and Entertainment Tonight Live as well as in the Net
 flix documentary &ldquo\;Disclosure.&rdquo\; They are also featured in the
  National Museum of African American History and Culture&rsquo\;s first fe
 ature-length doc\, &ldquo\;gOD-Talk: Reimagining Faith in the 21st Century

 &nbsp\;</p>\n<p><br />As founder of trblmkng.\, hill produces work as a cr
 eative artist\, standup comic\, speaker\, host\, media trainer and consult
 ant. Previously\, jarrett served two terms as president of the National As
 sociation of Black Journalists of Los Angeles (NABJLA) and is an adjunct p
 rofessor at the University of Southern California&rsquo\;s Annenberg Schoo
 l of Communication and Journalism. jarrett co-hosted FANTI\, with Tre&rsqu
 o\;vell Anderson\, one of Apple Podcasts&rsquo\; &ldquo\;Best of 2020.&rdq
 uo\; The pair co-authored the NAACP Image Award-winning book Historically 
 Black Phrases: From &ldquo\;I Ain&rsquo\;t One of Your Lil&rsquo\; Friends
  to Who All Gon&rsquo\; Be There? for Ten Speed Press at Penguin Random Ho
