 15 Paris Agreement established a UN-sponsored framework for negotiations o
 n climate change and global warming. In subsequent COP meetings\, experts 
 and political leaders have come together seeking common cause for this gro
 wing global crisis. What is the future of these efforts\, and what have th
 ey yielded? What is the U.S. role in fostering cooperation on climate chan
 ge? In a divided country\, what are the possible futures for American poli
 cy leadership?</p>\n<p><strong>Facilitator: </strong>Dr. Brenda Kauffman i
 s an Associate Professor of Political Science &amp\; International Studies
  and Director of International Studies at Flagler College. She earned her 
 Ph.D. in Political Science from Auburn University\, a Masters Degree in Li
 beral Arts and Philosophy from Spring Hill College\, a Bachelor's in Philo
 sophy and Religious Studies from Georgia State University\, and an Associa
 te's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Penn State University. Her a
 reas of specific interest include environmental politics\, international o
 rganizations and international political economy.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>A
 bout Great Decisions:&nbsp\;</strong>Great Decisions is America's largest 
 discussion program on world affairs. The program model involves reading th
 e Great Decisions Briefing Book (optional)\, and meeting in a Discussion G
 roup to discuss critical global issues facing America today. Each meeting 
 begins with a 30 minute film on the discussion topic and is followed by a 
 facilitator-led discussion.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Registration is required for th
 is event\, and must be completed two hours prior to the start time. A libr
 ary card and PIN is required for registration. If you do not have a card\,
