 rto Rico\, <em>ARTivism: New Beginnings</em> focuses on transforming ourse
 lves and our communities through the power of art. &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The exh
 ibit explores how creative expression can heal our pain and traumas\, auth
 entically convey cultural heritage and identities\, and address pressing s
 ocial and environmental issues. It features visual artworks in photography
 \, painting\, and mixed media by AnaYelsi Velasco Sanchez\, Rama AlFarkh\,
  and Wole Ajagbe. &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The reception will be held on Monday\, M
 arch 24\, from 5:30-8:30 pm at the MLK Library\, Floor 5\, featuring perfo
 rmances/screenings and a walkthrough the curator and artists. Light refres
 hments will be served.</p>\n<p>This event\, and the Art &amp\; Exhibits pr
