Paul J Morehead comes from a family of art ists and illustrators. His Grandmother Ruth J Morehead is a famous and hig hly published illustrator.
\nPaul has created a vast collection of h is own paintings and drawings of the animal kingdom\, from insects\, birds \, reptiles\, fish and mammals.
\nHis purpose in doing so is to capt ure the essence of their Animal Intelligence (AI)\, to share the beauty of nature and also to explore their characteristics and what we may learn ab out each animal and their relation to us as humans.
\nPaul has studi ed extensively Vedic Astrology\, Western Astrology\, Jytotish\, and also t he developed knowledge of Gene Keys and Dream Arc theories. Gene Keys aim to awaken the heart and mind by developing a personal chart that links us to animal intelligence in our own unique and individual way. Dream Arc the ory incorporates indigenous teachings\, practices and wisdom deeply connec ted to the animal world.
\nThe Animal Intelligence Art Exhibit may b e enjoyed on multiple levels &mdash\; the beauty of animals and the way in which Paul Morehead has captured their essence and in addition multiple l evels of personal experience\, discovering your Spirit Animals and how the y may help you in your life journey.
\nThe Exhibit features original colored pencil &\; watercolor illustrations based on the Dream Arc sys tem. Each illustration highlights the animals' archetypal wisdom\, focused on bringing to light their unique guidance for us to experience more conn ection\, compassion and collaboration. The Exhibit invites you to explore the relationship between the human &\; animal experience.

My artistic journey is about exploring our inner intelligenc
e\, and articulating it authentically. My mission is to create space for t
his intelligence to emerge and connect the viewer with their own wellsprin
g of inner wisdom.
Why Animals?
The Animal Intelligence serie
s portrays creatures connected to the Dream Arc\, a &ldquo\;buzzing hive o
f creativity and self-discovery\, collective transformation and connection
through the animal guides.&rdquo\; In showcasing the light and intelligen
ce that resides within these beings\, my hope is that we can recognize &am
p\; celebrate them as part of our shared earth family&mdash\;deeply connec
ted with the eternal currents of nature.
Every animal in this series
carries a teaching: a Shadow\, Gift\, or Siddhi reminding us how to reflec
t\, respond and return to our own healing\, growth\, and the universal lig
ht within our hearts. By connecting with these beings\, we rediscover wond
er\, innocence\, and resonate with a more simple\, pure expression of life
.
Art as Connection
Choosing natural media (watercolor and co
lored pencil) that honors the organic\, tactile quality of nature\, I can
listen more deeply to the subtle energy of each animal and create works th
at invite viewers into an intimate dialogue with their teachings.
My
hope is to inspire a moment of reflection and recognition: seeing yourself
in the animal and being seen in return\, without judgment&mdash\;just\, r
aw presence&hellip\;
A Universal Message
Art transcends age\,
culture\, and background\, just as animal guidance is universal. My goal
is to make these messages accessible to all\, honoring the beauty of natur
e in all its forms and reminding us of our place within its intricate harm
ony.
