\nAbo ut the Presenter: Jay Schuck an independent curator and art histo rian from Long Island\, NY. He received my B.A. and M.A. in Art History &a mp\; Criticism from Stony Brook University. In 2019\, he was awarded the i naugural Outstanding M.A. Thesis Award for my paper\, Sculpting the Soul: The Bust Portraiture of Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Jay has ten years of curator ial experience and has worked on a variety of large-scale visual arts proj ects. \; He manages the Patchogue-Medford Library's Claire Davidson Si egel Gallery and has curated exhibitions across Long Island. His passion f or art history has led him to develop several lecture-based\, art historic al programs\, which he delivers at libraries and other cultural institutio ns across the tri-state area and abroad. He is an Adjunct Faculty member o f the Visual Arts Department of Suffolk County Community College and the A rt Department of St. Joseph&rsquo\;s University in New York\, teaching Art History.
