Participants will learn about the importan ce of Ohio&rsquo\;s native bees as pollinators while building their own be e house to give our local cavity-nesting bees more habitat. They will also learn the value of planting native wildflowers and will be given the reso urces needed to help bees reproduce and find food on their own property. ( NOTE: \;Bee houses require annual maintenance (replacement of nesting materials) to promote healthy bee populations\; therefore\, we strongly ur ge participants to take a bee house only if they are able to maintain it. Tinker&rsquo\;s Creek Watershed Partners will be offering replacement mate rials for participants&rsquo\; second year of the bee house free of charge .) \;
\nTen bee houses will be brought for construction/educatio n - limit ten. There will be one bee house per individual registration or one house per family. \;The program is free and intended for adults an d family audience. Everybody can attend it\, but only registered will get the bee house (one per family). \;
