We are excited t o start of the New Year with some great films for Monday Movie Musings! Th is month\, a double feature of outside the box action films!

First up is "Everything Everywhere All at \;Once!" Winner of SEVEN! \;Oscars for 2022\, including Best Picture\, EEAAO brought directors Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan (often billed as simply as "Daniels") to widespread critical and cultural acclaim. Comedic action legends Michelle Yeoh\, James Hong and Jamie Lee Curtis all come up to bat\, and hit their respective roles out of the park! The film's wide-ranging genre and emoti onal moments are both impressive and mesmerizing\, creating a wonderfully unique film.

A wild action romp that borders on absurdity\, with an equall y unhinged Willem Dafoe at the helm\, "The Boondock Saints" is wildly ente rtaining. Although box-office numbers were disappointing upon first releas e\, the film later found acclaim and a cult following in the home market.< /p>\n
