 ood Pick-up?&nbsp\; You're in for a treat!&nbsp\; We offer a comfortable\,
  boutique-like food rescue experience unlike any other in Indian Springs.&
 nbsp\; We do have a line and limit the number of folks in the Library spac
 e to ensure safety\, we have staff and volunteers to walk you through your
  experience\, and even offer car-side service!&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>What
  a food rescue?</strong></p>\n<p>Food rescue is a little different from fo
 od pantries.&nbsp\; Food rescues have little to no barriers\, like income 
 requirements.&nbsp\; In our case\, we only ask for a sign-in to record our
  numbers.&nbsp\; Food rescues take food that is still good but about to co
 me up on its expiration and best-by dates and gets it into the hands of pe
 ople like you! This reduces food waste.&nbsp\; Based on an EPA estimate\, 
 "Food waste comprises&nbsp\;about 24 percent of municipal solid waste disp
 osed of in landfills. Due to its quick decay rate\, food waste in landfill
 s is contributing to more&nbsp\;methane emissions&nbsp\;than any other lan
 dfilled materials."&nbsp\; With one vehicle transporting all this food\, w
 e can also reduce emissions.</p>\n<p><strong>See below for additional deta
 ils:</strong></p>\n<p>The Indian Springs Library will be ready for our foo
 d pick-up with our first person being in at 11:30 am.&nbsp\; We will host 
 the pantry until 3:30 pm or until the food is gone!</p>\n<p>For those arri
 ving early\, please note we will have limited chairs in the lobby\, courte
 sy of our local Clark County Parks and Rec crew.&nbsp\; Doors and entryway
 s that must remain clear for traffic are marked by blue tape\, and we ask 
 chairs not be put in those areas.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are 
 coming in only for Library services\, please skip the line and come on in!
  We'll have staff to help you out.</li>\n<li>If you are here for Library s
 ervices AND food\, please wait in line.&nbsp\; We'll have staff come out t
 o get returns\, get your holds checked out\, etc.</li>\n<li>If you are onl
 y here for food\, please hop in line.&nbsp\; We don't want you missing out
  on your spot signing in.</li>\n<li>If you are feeling under the weather\,
  don't do well in crowded and busy areas\, have mobility limitations\, etc
 .\, please give us a call after 11:30 when you arrive in the parking lot.&
 nbsp\; We'll do our best to put you on the list in the order people have a
 rrived and will call you when it's your turn.&nbsp\; Staff will shop and c
 urbside your items for you!</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Due to limited food availabili
 ty and high demand\, we are asking that everyone be present to pick up the
 ir food\, that sign-ins are per household\, and to please note that items 
 are limited to ensure there is enough food for everyone.&nbsp\; Everyone i
 s welcome to return between 3 and 3:30 pm to pick up additional food items
  without the item limitations.</p>\n<p>This program is possible only throu
 gh our amazing team of volunteers and our friends at Celestial Manna\, Thr
 ee Square\, and Trader Joe's.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>This program is free a
 nd open to the public.&nbsp\; Food items are on a first-come\, first-serve
 d basis and most items are limited to ensure there is enough for everyone 
 to get some fresh goods.&nbsp\; Please contact us with any questions you m
