 doors in the winter makes your home cozy. Join us for a drop-in houseplant
  swap to pick up an indoor plant\, share plant cuttings of your own\, or d
 rop off a plant you no longer want. Start getting those plants ready and j
 oin us to trade plants with other plant enthusiasts. Want to trade an Afri
 can violet for a prayer plant? How about swapping aloe vera for a cat frie
 ndly plant? You never know what you might discover!</p>\n<p><strong>How do
  I participate?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bring up to five healthy houseplan
 ts or cuttings to swap.</li>\n<li>Use a clean container that you are ok gi
 ving away.</li>\n<li>If possible\, label plants with their name.</li>\n<li
 >Please bring your own bags and/or containers/boxes to carry your new plan
 ts home.</li>\n<li>Propagate some of your existing plants to share with ot
 hers.</li>\n<li>You are encouraged to bring a healthy and pest-free plant 
 or cutting to swap\, but its' not required. We will have an S.O.S. table f
 or those who like a challenge or a hidden gem!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>How
  can I share cuttings?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wrap each cutting in a wet 
 paper towel and place in a ziploc bag.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Looking to 
 just donate?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drop off plant donations to the Downt
 own Library up two days in advance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Have too many 
 empty pots?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Swap your terracotta\, ceramic\, metal
  or other decorative empty pots for new ones or share your extras!</li>\n<
 li>Not accepting extra empty plastic nursery pots.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong
 >Don't know where to start?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Borrow a plant identif
 ication or plant care book from the Library.</li>\n<li>Take a course on ho
 w to create decorative terracotta planters with <a href="https://www.creat

 /a>.</li>\n<li>Visit the Creative Spaces and use the Cricut to show your p
