  past decade\, musicians from all across the Americas have collaborated to

 ic residency series connecting students and community with unique cultures
  from major world groups. The program aims to broaden communities&rsquo\; 
 positive exposure to different cultures\, help them recognize and respect 
 differences and similarities between themselves and persons of other cultu
 res\, and strengthen their own cultural identity. The week culminates in a
