The International Rescue Committee in Spok ane is hosting their annual International Women&rsquo\;s Day celebration o n Friday\, March 7th from 10am-1pm to highlight the resilience\, courage\, talents\, and accomplishments of refugee and immigrant women in Spokane. The event will include dozens of community organizations sharing resources and referrals\, a donation room with free items and giveaways\, activitie s for women and children\, such as flower crown making\, henna\, art proje cts\, and bracelet making\, and refreshments. We will also have the pleasu re to hear from inspiring women and leaders from Spokane&rsquo\;s refugee and immigrant community. We are looking forward to gathering to empower an d celebrate women\, enjoy each other&rsquo\;s cultures\, and make connecti ons across our community.
